Sharon E. Lake is an educator, linguist and human resource  professional who speaks English, French, and Spanish fluently. She has been writing poems and short short stories from childhood. Her stories and poems have been published in Caribbean Reads (2014)

Where I See the Sun; Contemporary Poetry in Anguilla (2015) and Interviewing the Caribbean (2016). She won First Place in  the Malliouhana Poetry Competition (Poetry on the Page)  in its inaugural launch in (2007) and more recently in (2017).
