The Ninth Annual Anguilla Lit Fest: A Literary Jollification will take place at Paradise Cove from 14th to 17th May, 2020. The festival pays homage to Anguilla’s literary heritage whilst offering yet another great reason for visitors to travel to our beautiful island in May, one of the most enjoyable months of the year to visit.
“The Anguilla Lit Fest brings together my great loves: beautiful beaches, great literature, and lively conversation.”
The Anguilla Lit Fest appeals to readers, writers and thinkers. The weekend programme is an enticing mixture of keynote presentations, lively panel discussions, author workshops and of course, “Jollification” whilst leaving plenty of time for delegates to explore and enjoy Anguilla’s world famous beaches.
“There is something to be said about sun, sand, surf and authors, I am a proud Lit Fest repeat offender!!!!!!! “
Anguilla Lit Fest hospitality is legendary! Delegates enjoy casual breakfast and lunch sessions around the pool during the day and in the evenings get the chance to meet and mingle with the authors and publishing pros at elegant cocktail parties and showcase events.
“It’s an unbeatable opportunity to network with world-class writers, thinkers and publishing professionals in an intimate and inspirational location.”
All programme activities take place at the charming Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel, an Anguillian owned property. All sessions take place in cool, open air tents; the “Poolside Pavilion” or the spacious “Garden Auditorium” so delegates can enjoy fresh caribbean sea breezes and views of the colourful gardens and swimming pool as they listed to our fabulous presenters.
The Lit Fest always attracts participants of exceptional quality and this year is no exception. The line up for 2019 includes Booker Prize Winners, New York Times bestselling authors, debut authors, poets, publishers, literary publicists, literary reviewers, editors, historians, professional lecturers, raconteurs, storytellers and magazine editors who will share the stage with our home grown talent, the “Pride of Anguilla” authors and poets.
