Saturday, May 21st promises to be an evening of exceptional storytelling and humour and one definitely not to be missed – when the Caribbean’s most beloved raconteur takes the stage at Paradise Cove, as the final session of the 2016 Anguilla Lit Fest.
Paul Keens-Douglas also known as TimTim was born in Trinidad. He is one of the most eloquent and best-known raconteurs and social commentators in the English-speaking Caribbean. A pioneer in the development of the oral traditions and the use of the vernacular as a literary form, he produces the annual TimTim Show and carnival Talk Tent which he started in 1983. An international performer, Paul makes regular tours of the Caribbean territories and metropolitan countries. His company Keensdee Productions Ltd focuses on management and staff training, with an emphasis on inter-personal and cross-cultural communication. As such he has become a much sought-after Conference Presenter and Motivational Speaker.
Paul Keens-Douglas is also a self-published author. His work has been featured in many anthologies and well-known international publications and has been translated into French, German, and Japanese.
Entrance to the Paul Keens-Douglas show is included for those holding full price 2 day or 1 day (Saturday) passes to the Anguilla Lit Fest. Tickets for the show to non participants of the Lit Fest are available – in ADVANCE ONLY – for $25 for Adults and $10 for children. There is limited seating available so please book early to avoid disappointment.
